Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), protein powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined. The mixture should be sticky and hold together.

Add Chocolate Chips

If desired, fold in mini chocolate chips or dried fruit into the mixture. This will add extra flavour and texture.

Form Balls

Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls using your hands. Aim for bite-sized balls, about 1-inch in diameter. If the mixture is too sticky, you can wet your hands slightly with water to prevent sticking.

Place the formed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Chilling will help the balls set and hold their shape.

Store or Serve

Once chilled, your protein balls are ready to eat! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also freeze them for longer storage.

Coconut: Roll the finished balls in shredded coconut for an extra layer of flavour. 🥥

Nut-Free: Use sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter for a nut-free version. 🌻

Different Flavors: Experiment with different types of protein powder (whey, plant-based) and add-ins like spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) or extracts (almond, coconut). 🌈
